CANADIAN CURRIULUM

The Canadian Curriculum at RCS is the foundation for instruction from K – 12, and has a world class reputation as a global leader in education. It is based on a quality program that respects the intrinsic value of the individual and centres on the developing the full potential of each child. The curriculum is well-defined, purposeful, diverse, well-balanced, challenging and engaging, and serves to intereconnect the mind body and soul.

Starting in Kindergarten, the curriculum fosters children’s growth and learning: socially, emotionally, intellectually and creatively, to become lifelong learners in an environment that is nurturing, inquiry based and developmentally appropriate. As students learn and grow, they will need the 21st Century skills to participate fully in our increasingly sophisticated technological, information based society, and to cultivate strong communication skills to thrive in an inter-connected, collaborative world.
