helps learners move towards a national, international, global and intercultural perspective with canadian education.

The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) caters to students aged 5 – 11, divided into three milestones: ages 5 – 7; ages 7 – 9 and ages 9-11. It was first introduced by Fieldwork Education in 2000 and is one of the fastest-growing international programmes in the world. IPC has expanded into international private and state schools with a presence in more than 1000 schools in over 90 countries.

The benefits of IPC include It’s flexibility; it can easily be adapted to children’s interests and level of understanding. It can be integrated with other national curriculum in a creative and engaging way. IPC learners become Globally Competent learners, developing their understanding of the world.

There are three main Learning Goals in the IPC that define what learners are expected to know, what they should be able to do and the understanding that they will develop through learning. The Learning Goals are organized into the following 3 unique but connected sections:

INTERNATIONAL

PERSONAL
